Come paint with me in and around Sarlat-la-Canéda, a beautiful medieval village in the Dordogne region, south west of France!

For seven days and seven nights you’ll be part of a small group hosted by two lovely locals and myself, as we paint, eat, drink wine and talk art while immersing ourselves in this beautiful village and the surrounding areas.

Join Lana for an immersive weekend of plein air landscape painting.

Half of each day will be spent working outdoors, with the rest of the day spent back in the studio, further developing your work. (If the weather is against us, we’ll spend the weekend working indoors from photos of the local area).

Lana will talk you through her plein air set up and guide you through the weekend with a variety of exercises and techniques you can use to help interpret the landscape in your own personal way. Suitable for beginners with some experience, to advanced painters looking for some new approaches to their work. Lana will be painting in oils, but acrylic painters welcome.

I've designed this palette to work with an Art Logic Aluminium Easel. It hooks over the legs offering you a simple to use, cost effective plein air set up, with maximum mixing space!
