About
& Education

Born 1979, Harare, Zimbabwe.
Grew up in Perth, WA, lives in Melbourne. 

Lana has been pursuing her passion for painting since she was a kid, dedicating more and more time to her practice as life permits. She is known for her floral still lifes and landscapes painted in a bold expressive style. She primarily works in oils and acrylics and enjoys exploring mark-making and its role in creating works that feel lively and fresh.

EDUCATION

1997 - 2000, Bachelor of Arts (Design), Curtin University, WA

Additional tuition at the Victorian Artists Society by Ray Hewitt, Paul McDonald-Smith and Stephen Doyle.
